Rushing after the meeting, it wasn't easy for me to decide what to wear that night. Jo said it was casual but knowing Jo and her friends - I think I shall wear something decent yet unusual.

Steph came and pick me about 6.40pm as there was a massive jam. Then, we took one giant round to avoid the traffic. We were also lost looking for the place as the directions given were wrong. "This place we're going is call HIDE. Well, it's damn HIDDEN!!" said Steph. It's true - the restaurant was located in the middle of housing areas. Best part was, we thought it was closed that day as there were no light at all.. BUT, we have to take the stairs from the back way and climb up the stairs. To our surprise, it didn't look as bad as we thought it might be. Though it was well hidden, but the trip was worth our time and effort.

First and foremost, HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009!!

Lovely, Serene, Calm - I shall describe my hometown Ipoh..

I never knew Ipoh could be so nice.. This time around, I came back, met up with some friends and I realized a lot of stuff I missed out previously...

Driving around in Ipoh is actually.. MADNESS! Drivers in Ipoh do not normally use signals. When they feel like going cutting in, they will just do so, without bothering if you're there. Damn, you must be pretty alert when you're driving around here..

Ipoh is famous with good food - I totally agree with that! Stephanie was in Ipoh for a week and man, I brought her around for good food and trust me, we are not done yet. So Steph might actually come again for food. Haha.

My lovely friends - they are just awesome. I met up with them like a lot of times.. Not a lot but as much as we could. Can't blame, love them so much. Well, I have to thank CHEE YANG alot here for trying his really best to make it for ma New Year gathering this year. Chee Yang actually had class that very same day. So he rushed back by bus - just in time for one game of Mah Jong and countdown. "Happy New Year 2009!" This could be a new beginning for me..

Year 2008 might be a good year, but it wasn't my best year. Just hope for the best for year 2009 and I believe it will cause it started with a great bang - lovely friends surrounding me making heaps of noise at ma crib! Haha. Love these guys man. For those who didn't make it this year for the gathering, it's ok. I am having another one pretty soon. Maybe soon enough during Chinese New Year - cause I would love to see Chee Hau before he heads back to Melbourne. Gonna miss that joker.

Oh yeah, gotta give great thanks to Chee Hau for his lovely gift he got me from Melbourne. It was indeed thoughful of him to get me such memorable gift. THANKS! *p.s. if u wanna know, mayb u can try asking Chee Hau for some hints.. *

A new year is a new beginning; it's time to let go and forget about the past and look forward to a great year ahead of you.
