When You're Gone

I always needed time on my own
I never thought I'd need you there when I cry
And the days feel like years when I'm alone
And the bed where you lie
is made up on your side

When you walk away
I count the steps that you take
Do you see how much I need you right now?

When you're gone
The pieces of my heart are missing you
When you're gone
The face I came to know is missing too
When you're gone
All the words I need to hear to always get me through the day
And make it OK
I miss you

I've never felt this way before
Everything that I do
Reminds me of you
And the clothes you left
they lie on my floor
And they smell just like you
I love the things that you do

When you walk away
I count the steps that you take

[When You're Gone lyrics on http://www.metrolyrics.com]

Do you see how much I need you right now?

When you're gone
The pieces of my heart are missing you
When you're gone
The face I came to know is missing too
And when you're gone
The words I need to hear to always get me through the day
And make it OK
I miss you

We were made for each other
Out here forever
I know we were
Yeah Yeah

All I ever wanted was for you to know
Everything I do I give my heart and soul
I can hardly breathe, I need to feel you here with me
Yeah

When you're gone
The pieces of my heart are missing you
When you're gone
The face I came to know is missing too
When you're gone
The words I need to hear will always get me through the day
And make it OK
I miss you

ShoGun & Mardi Gras

Dinner at Shogun on Saturday was fun! Meeting up with the Discover mates - crazy. We kept on eating and eating and yes indeed, as usual, Chi Hoong is the big bully. But the biggest surprise from Chi Hoong was he donated RM 62 to Sharon cause she wanted to go for the thing somewhere in September where you starve for charity to raise funds.. I think this thing is a pretty good cause.. and I might be going for a change. Since Tien invited me to go...

The sushi were just alright. I didn't really like the oysters though - I prefer fresh rock oysters. I still remember the face on Teck Eng when we kinda forced him to eat the escargo and scallops. He said "You Chinese people eat everything!" Well Teck Eng, you're Chinese too! In the end, after we persuade him, he finally tasted the escargo and scallops. And he ate one of the rock oysters too. Hehe, Teck Eng, Welcome to the Chinese Community!

We were all busy eating. And Chi Hoong and Su Yuen was busy guessing who were the couple last year. I really have to say, the food was alright but I was really full, bloated. I think trying once in Shogun is good enough. The bill came up to RM 777.40. THANK YOU DISCOVER USA 2007 FOR THE GREAT MEAL!

Yng Jiun and I went to Mardi Gras for a drink or two. The bartender recommended me Kamikaze and Lychee Martini. Well, it was nice especially the Lychee Martini. Yng Jiun insisted to try Sex On The Beach. Let her be. I was there cause Yng Jiun wanted to try so of course I gotta accompany her. Then JonZ came...

Yup, then I met up with JonZ and we went to Kit's house for another round of - Mah Jong! Let me tell you, I think we are all sick of clubbing and going to clubs of pubs on anything. We rather stay at home for MAH JONG now. ;p Seriously, we were laughing our asses off when we didn't know how we win the game. And we were watching Astro while playing. Isn't this better? Time to have a quiet life...

Shhhh..... Shhhhh....... Shhhh.....

HOLZ TIME

24th July

Wopeedoo! Can’t believe it’s finally over. Three papers in two days. Yesterday the first paper was alright - I think I didn’t make a lot of mistakes. Second paper was a bit bad but hopefully I’ll be able to pass it. I was very worried about today’s paper cause I didn’t study for it. But I ran through the tips Miss Jessica gave us. Like what I always believe – even if I could not score on other parts, I should score on parts where I am good. So I focused on the tips. And thank goodness, it really came out. So now it all depends on how much Miss Jessica wanna grade me.

Went for the rehearsals for cultural night today. The microphone was horrible. I couldn’t sing properly. I sounded like a horrible freak. Ben didn’t do too well too cause he couldn’t hear himself singing. Sigh, what a bad day. I do hope we could perform better on that day…

Had dinner with Carina. It was fun catching up with her. She is as usual, sampat! Then Terence called and asked if wanna dinner together or something. So I asked them to come pink shop. So hung out there till about 11.15pm. I ate almost about RM20 – only in pink. But it was great. I had no idea why I ate so much – or rather how could I possibly eat so much. But I did. I think it was just stress releasing.

Well, can’t wait to go back Ipoh. I need a break from KL. It is pretty depressing in some ways. I have no idea why. I guess it’s just a sign of me growing up.

Birthday is coming in about 49 days. I can’t believe I will be getting my “key” soon. I can’t believe I am actually turning 21. I am seriously getting old.

Too much of writing today. Gotta go and get some reading going. Tata….

Sunday Work

22nd July

Woke up about 5.45 am. Got ready, and had minor make up on so I won’t look that pale. Waited for Yng Jiun to come and pick me up. 6.30am – still no sign of her. So I decided to give her a call. She was on her way. Left Sunway about 6.35am and reached Mid Valley about 6.45am. We weren’t speeding, but the traffic was so clear that we could drive smoothly there. Went to Mid Valley parking – no single soul was seen. It was pretty scary though.

After we parked the car, we went in. Damn, the escalators were all not working. So had to walk up and went to South Court to try and see if the lifts were working. Damn, one floor up and construction was being made. So we had to walk another floor up. Finally, lift. But it wasn’t working. So we had to walk all the way up to the MVEC (Mid Valley Exhibition Center). A few of them were there. So basically we started working and it was 7.00am.

Run Bel, Run!
This isn’t working.
This VIP is not coming.
Where are the goodie bags for this VIP.
Smile.
Welcome to Discover. Have you registered online? If not please proceed to the counter next to this.
Registered online? Good. Here is a sticker for you, you may placed it on your shoulder and here is a goodie bag for you. Thank you. Have a nice day!

Phew, those were the few lines I kept on saying throughout the whole event. Though I was working mainly the first half of the event but the rest of it we were over-looking the volunteers, just in case they have no idea what is going on.

Overall, the event was a success. According to the security, there were more than 10,000 people who came that day. So it was really good. Went back and rested for a while. Guess what, could not believe it’s finally over. I think I might miss the event though I didn’t do much.

Time for study again…

Saturday Madness

21st July

Wow, what a tiring day… Went to Mid Valley today for the event set-up. I looked really lost there cause I have no idea what I was suppose to do. But nevertheless, I helped out a little here and there…

Left Mid Valley about 3 plus. Had to rush back cause Coke was suppose to pass me my business textbook. Yng Jiun drove me back since she was on her way to Ss15 for printing. The only thing that she said was “remember to study; don’t do everything else. She sounded like my mom!” But it was really nice of her to care.

Met up with Coke. Ji Hyun and Kiki was there too. And guess what Kiki and Ji Hyun said about me – “Isabel, you look really pale!” I was really surprised. Do I look that pale? I asked myself. Then, Carina called. Had to meet her for the Wet and Wild Party organized by 8tv and Sunway Lagoon.

Went there about 4pm. Was waiting for Amirul and princess Jason Kong to come. While waiting, we were mesmerized by something – the Lamborghini parked right outside the Resort Hotel and the car plate number is AAC 5. I wonder which “big-shot” car was that. Seriously, we kept on admiring the car. Wilson took some pictures of it too. Shall ask from him later….

Princess Jason came only about 4.30pm. But he said he needed to shit. What a princess. So we went in first, without him. But I heard them saying the queue will be closing soon. So I be kind enough and asked the pass for Jason first. Lucky us, he allowed.

The place was really crowded. Saw a lot of chicks but no hunks. This is so sad – guys can see chicks but girls could not get hunks cause Malaysian guys are too thin!!!!! What a disaster!!

Swam in the surf beach for some time. Enjoyed performances from So You Think You Can Dance finalist, Suki, some dancers and Flop Poppy. We were too busy jumping in the water – we got so hungry we left earlier.

Went for dinner. Jason, Wilson, Amirul, Carina and I took two meals. We all had the first round rice – either Nasi Ayam, Nasi Lemak or Nasi Lemak with Ayam Goreng. Second round, all of us took IndoMie. We looked as though we starved for many days and came back from some war or something. I bet we freaked Wilson’s gf and her friends off with the way we ate.

It was a good day. But I was supposed to be studying. What was I even thinking? Glad I had fun too. ;P

20th July - 4 days to go....

20th July

Well, after clubbing last night, I was really tired. So I got up bout 11am. Had to finish my research paper. Can you believe it; I finish it within 3 hours. I think it was a piece of crap or junk. I do hope to score that paper or else I am screwed.

Then I went to Student Center for the audition for Duo Celebration – Sunway University College’s 20th Anniversary and Malaysia’s Merdeka 50th Anniversary. So for you who do not know, Sunway is in fact has establish for 20 years. Long enough huh? I am only a year older than Sunway.

Well among some of the distinguish performance we had today was yoyo, guitarist, rapping and singing. Well yoyo was excellent – I was pretty stunned in fact cause I know I can’t do that. As for guitarist, I was only amazed by Tom. He plays really well guitar. Like those Middle Eastern songs – if you know what I mean. As for rapping, I was impressed with the fact he wrote it himself but it wasn’t that interesting. Another in which amazed me was Firmansyah. He was good with the guitar and so-call rapping. You know, like those cowboy style of singing and all – one word, impressive. But the annoying part was when he started singing Don’t Cha. It is really funny. But I don’t like the way he sings it…. It sounds weird. Sorry, Firm, just kidding..

Then the singers were disappointing. One guy sang some Chinese song in which I could not hear a word he was singing. Then we had this guy who sang Belaian Jiwa – I thought it should be good. My goodness – I nearly wanted to cry. Not because the fact he sang it emotionally well, he sang it emotionally terrible. But I’ve got to say, these people has the guts to go up and go for audition. Then there is this duet singing to I Want To Spend My Lifetime Loving You and one Chinese song. I am sorry to say, yes the girl might look cute but the singing wasn’t impressive at all. Now for the good one – there is two. One is the girl who sang Standing In The Eyes of the World. She sounded like Jacklyn Victor and she did accapella. Not forgetting our dear Ben and Stephanie singing to The Prayer. They were good. Seriously, I have no idea why did Ben find me to sing with him when he could just sing with Stephanie. I am not that good. Sigh, not easy mate!

Well, I can’t believe I am doing all these even when I have my finals on Monday. Ooh, guess what we did after the audition ended. We went Pink to “yum cha” – Jack Shen, Ben, Stephanie, Stephanie’s bf and me. Later Ying Xiao and Jermaine joined us but for a short while only cause they had to leave. The funniest part was when all of us were starring at the screen watching America’s Next Top Model. We all had that “stone” look on our faces. We should have captured that moment. But anyways, after dinner, Ben, Jack and I went to Pyramid. We wanted to watch a movie so we decided to watch it together.

Ben wanted to watch Harry Potter while Jack and I wanted to watch Transformers. In the end, we decided to watch Die Hard 4.0. The cinema was fully booked when we wanted to get the tickets so we had to wait for the online booking list to be open before we could do anything. So I took a walk around Pyramid, Jack went and started “drifting” with Initial D aka arcade, and Uncle Ben went and mingle around in TGV. When we went in for Die Hard 4.0 (nope, we did not pay the ticket cause it was suppose to be house seats), disappointedly the house seats were not available. Someone actually bought tickets for it. *sweat* It was quite an embarrassing moment and thank goodness no one could recognize us as we were in the dark. Then we went out. I was really unhappy and we were deciding to watch some movie. Ben kept on insisting that Jack and I should watch one movie together while he go watch some Harry Potter. Jack and I didn’t agree to that idea at all cause we came out as a gang, so we should watch as a gang. What fun would it be if we all go our separate ways. In the end, we manage to persuade Ben to watch The Invisible Target – some Chinese movie.

The movie was very predictable. Through out the whole show, Jack and I knew what would happen next. We sounded like the director of the movie. As for Ben and I, we both kept on making fun of the show; saying things like what if after all the hard core action they did and the director didn’t like the way they did it and they had to do all over again, picture the look on their face and saying “What the F***? It’s so f***ing hard to do that scene and you expect us to do all over again?” So what if the actor complains, they had to do all over again still since the director didn’t like it.

After the movie, Ben stayed on for his Harry Potter. I told him it’s not that nice yet he insist to watch it. So Jack and I went back. But stupid Pyramid, was doing something at the escalator so we had to take the lift down one floor. But there was no access to level 7. So we had to go level 5 and walk up the escalator for one floor. Then we had to walk back all the way to Sunway Lagoon Resort. While walking the connecting bridge, Jack was saying if there’s anything wrong, we should turn back. But I suggested, we should just jump out the window. If people ask why did we do so. I shall answer and tell them, I thought those windows in the movie is the same, as these and it should not hurt. So I thought of finding the fastest way to save my own life and I assume there are mattresses waiting for me below. Yeah, it was a pretty lame comment I said. But to kept the conversation rolling.

When we arrived at hotel, we went down to the lift and though we parked the car at level 10. But when we got out, we realized we were on the wrong floor. So we had to go up all the way to level 12 and walked down the stairs to level 11. But sadly, the door was locked. So we walked up to level 12 again, walked out of the hotel and to the car park and find the emergency staircase to the lower level of parking. Damn, it wasn’t easy. Then Jack passed me his car keys while he went to pay the parking ticket. Phew, it was a “pleasure” journey going around Pyramid and Lagoon Resort hotel in the middle of the night.

Alright, enough of the grand mother stories. I guess I wrote too much that this looks more like my research paper. *lol* Time to say goodbye!!!!!

19th July - Mardi Gras

Am I really suffering from depression? I think I am. Even when I am in a crowd, I don’t feel like talking anymore. This is sad…

Went for Jason Kwan’s birthday party. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JASON! It was at Mardi Gras, Dawn’s mom, Aunty Mandy’s club. It was great – the crowd was there, the design and all – excellent. Good job Aunty Mandy and Uncle Jimmy. Keep up the good work! *lol

Met a few new friends. One is Eugene, one big crapper; Stephanie, which reminds me of Chui San a lot – JonZ and Eugene’s friend; and one more guy which I forgot his name but he’s freaking tall. He is 192cm. Can you imagine how short I am when I am standing next to him? Man, even when I was dancing with him, it wasn’t easy. But he is a cool guy. He’s a basketball player and he is a law student and also a salsa dancer. Interesting? Hmmmm, what’s up with me and meeting lawyers? Is it a sign? Just kidding…

And of course, we met another Jon – who is the son to the owner of Euro Deli. Small world huh? Boon’s boss’s son. Wow, repetition.. Haha..

Oh and I met Daniel, Jones and Yuki at the club too. What a freaking small world! I kind of got sounding from them for not calling them but it wasn’t my fault right since Jason asked me to go for the party.

Cool night. Had fun. It’s been such a long time since I did this. Alright, maybe not that long – like a month. But seriously, compared to those good ol’ days when I go clubbing almost every week – phew, tell me about it.

Exams are on Monday. I am pretty stressed out. And with all the things troubling my mind now – it’s really hard for me to concentrate. But Bel, you’ve got to focus! FOCUS!!

I think it’s enough of crap. Time to go… ZZZZZzzzzzZZZZZzzzzzZZZZZzzzzz

Shevoune and I

Coke and his silly face

It was Kit's 21st birthday party. Honestly, it was a little dull and boring at first. But the party started when almost everyone left. It was just Kit, JonZ, Boon, Einstein, Edwin, June, Coke, Buffy, Kiki, Ji Hyun and me. Wilson was there for a short while though but left after the first round of drinking game.

The first drinking game:

a card was given to everyone but the person himself/herself can't see their own card. So it's a risk game but we risk by pouring alcohol. So whoever is the smallest has to bottoms up the drink. Damn, it wasn't easy at all....

We were all a little wasted so we all had to play another game to get everyone sober. Then we saw these couple or friends sitting alone at one corner so we invited them to join us.

Second game, the dare game:

The person who has the King has the power to order to pairs to do whatever he/she wants.

Guess what, the first time I got, the dare was to kiss Coke. EWWW... Coke is my buddy. Why would I wanna do that? But I had to. Eww... The feeling wasn't good at all.. Trust me, it wasn't easy...

Next round, I had to do another dare. Guess what tis time. I had to give Kiki a hicky on his stomach. EWWW.... It's Kiki, my brother, my sister, my buddy.... Man, this is crazy, I thought to myself. It is indeed crazy... And Kiki had to give me a hicky as well... Eww.. Disgusted...

Can you picture the phase I had to go through?

The next round my dare was to French kiss someone, a guy, the stranger. His name is Brandon, 27, a lawyer. Well, things are just getting worse... Man.... So I did kiss that guy. (Yes, Kiki and Boon, Brandon is a good kisser and I enjoyed it - happy?) *lol*

I was very traumatized by the event man. Last round, everyone's got to kiss someone. I had to kiss Edwin - French. Man, not another friend - I thought to myself. This is interesting but at the same time, horrifying... I mean it's good but not so good...

But all of us had fun.. Kiki and Boon is still enjoying the video of me kissing Brandon. I am really praying hard that boy don't start distributing it around..

DISCOVER U.S. EDUCATION!!

Hey Guys! This is the official poster for the education fair. Check out the details... Cool eh? So what are you guys waiting for! Sign Up!!

What you See, Might not be What you Get

Sometimes when you love someone so deeply, you would rather let him or her go. Even though how much you do not want to leave them, you just do not have a choice. I just made one silly yet important decision – to let him go. I know I didn’t want to – but in order to move forward, I should not hold on to my past. I know I still love him a lot; but he is not mine to be loved.

There is this saying – if you love someone, set them free; if he/she comes back to you then he/she is yours; but if he/she never, then it’s never meant to be.

I know I lost a good friend. I lost his trust and faith. I just really hope he knows what’s buried deep within me and will forgive me. But I guess he will never finds out about this not unless I tell him about it.

I somehow regret my decision – but I really do not have a choice. If given a chance, I would really just like to tell him - I love you.

L.O.V.E

People often say they are in love. But do they mean what they say? Is it love or is it lust?

Lust is defined as a desire for something. So when you said it’s a lust meaning the love that one person thought it was love was just yet another plain desire. It might be different for different people. Some might be hunger for sex, some might be hunger for some tender love and care and some might just wants someone to be there for them all the time.

Then what is love? Love is something you find it irresistible. Loving someone deeply gives you courage, being loved by someone gives you strength, friendship often ends in love, but often loves in friendships never ends. To love someone deeply means you are willing to spend the rest of your life with the other half. Love is not an easy thing but as long as you are willing to try, there is always hope.

This has always been a pretty disturbing topic running through my head most of the time. People tell me that they love the guy that they are currently seeing. The next thing you know, after a few months of dating the same guy, they are bored with them or there were miscommunications and all. Then that is not love. It was just lust or a sense of loneliness deep inside them when they just want someone to be there. And it could be caused by peer pressure.

Why is it that I say it might be caused by peer pressure? This could be due to the fact that everyone they see around them are dating and seeing someone, they do not want to be left out thus they start dating. Some even start dating even without knowing that person well or without any feelings. In this modern society, they lost the true meaning of love.

But get this right – love is always around us – friends, family and even loved ones. Appreciate everyone around you…..

People Always Leave

People come and go in life. We should not expect too much from people. Like what some of you might have notice in the TV Series, “One Tree Hill” – Peyton had this picture of a traffic lights saying “People always leave”.

I do believe this is true. Leave sometimes does not mean physically but also emotionally – in other words, they leave because they are hurt, lost trust, dislike and many more. I’ve had many people who walk in to my life and leave just like that – so many times that I would have no idea what is wrong. This did not happen to me when I was younger but only in recent years when I am in college.

Maybe it’s because back when we were younger, we are not in the complicated world yet. We are still sheltered. Now that we’re growing up, starting to get into the complicated world, things become more and more complicated.

This is just another random post. Lights out….

Church Experience

Friends do come in handy when a lot of things happen. Was experiencing something new today. Alright, maybe not that new - but the most least, new for that friend of mine.

Some people tend to keep things to themselves all the time. Not till it will come to a maximum point in life they will burst it out. Sometimes when emotions build up, people get very irritated or agitated easily – they cry, they scream at people, they do a lot of things unexpectedly. Now why am I stating this?

A friend of mine (name not to be mentioned) was tearing today. I was really shocked to see that. He has always been the happy go lucky, “I don’t know, I don’t care, I don’t bother” type of person. He didn’t really tell me what was wrong. But I was really glad someone else manage to help him out. We were in church then. He talked it out and I do hope he feels better now. I really would wanna pray for this friend of mine as he has always been a good friend to me – took care of me in bad times and made fun of me in good times. Where can you find these kind of friends?

I am really glad he really shares it out. Cause I really do not want him to keep it to himself all the time. And guess what, he promise me something unexpectedly. He promised to quit smoking – alright, first step was to reduce. This is a very good start! He is a free-tinkle and the most surprising thing is he was asking me whether there is true God. Well, I told him a little bit – but not too much cause I don’t want him to think I am trying to brain-wash him or something. I just really hope he could keep his faith strong.

My dear, just to let you know, you will be in my prayers. I do hope God will work wonders in your life. Thanks for being such a great friend. : P Keep smiling. Will be here for you if you need anything. : P

Out of Frustration

I am so so stressed out. I had to do the AMS presentation since some dude in ma group insist on not doing it. Then, I had to prepare for my public speaking speech. And I have another test on Thursday. Man, this life = dead.

Gotta run off now.. Need to continue with ma work..

It was Independence Day. Jon Chong saw me and asked me if I wanted to go Laundty that night cause it was the launch for Tempered Mental. So I went..

It was really fun. Love their music. Especially one of the songs (sorry, forgot their title of songs d). They are indeed cool. But it was a tiring day for me the previous night I didnt sleep well cause I was rushing for my assignments.

4th July - Presentation for public speaking but it was cancelled cause most of the students aka us were busy preparing for Independence Day Celebration at the foyer.

My play went on pretty well - not as good as I expeceted cause my group member (names shall not be mentioned here) didn't really perform the way I wanted cause he was too demanding. But overall it was good. And guess what, we got 16 our of 20, TOP THREE IN CLASS. Not too bad. But apparently it wasn't too good for my team member... Whatever..

But highlight of the day - Tempered Mental Album launch!

Weeked Thrill

went back Ipoh for the weekend cause Carina and Kit wanted to come down - ok, come up to Ipoh. So, these two crazy kids are super crazy. wanted to go Gua Tempurung.

Friday, 29th June 2007

So, on Friday, after I've reached Ipoh from KL and they've reached from Penang, we head to Gua Tempurung. But sadly, we were too late. We can't do anything cause all the packages offered with the leader are in the morning. So, it's impossible for us to just leave after such a long drive from Ipoh. Of course we didn't drive, but Wilson did. So we decided to go to the so-call nearest place of all - Lata Kinjang; the waterfall that everyone would see when you drive pass the North-South highway. It's at Tapah. The ticket sales girl from Gua Tempurung told us Lata Kinjang was near but it wasn't at all. Got fooled.

So I went down without preparation. No extra clothes no nothing. Luckily Kit borrowed me her shorts. Yes indeed, the waterfall is nice. It looked too real, so real that it looks fake. Get what I mean? *lol* There were a flight of stairs leading us up somewhere which we have no idea where but yet adventurous kids like us went up. It lead us to almost the peak of where people would be able to go. (see the way I put it, not the peak of the waterfall) Then we decided to go back down to where it is safer to actually swim or dip in. The current of the waterfall was very strong. Lying down on one of the stone made me felt as though I am at a massage parlor and someone is massaging my back. But stubborn cow like us was not satisfied. So we climbed up a little higher, just a few rocks above us and we lie down... Phew, it was really fun. It felt as though we were doing a photoshoot. Crazy enough aren't we? *lol* But we were not satisfied! So we went up higher.. jumping from rocks to rocks.. which was really fun.. *lol*

" Past the point of no return
the final threshold, the bridge
is crossed, so stand and watch it burn . . ."

So what the bridge burn? Of course it didn't. We passed by a pretty scary bridge.. it was basically a hanging bridge...If you look down it's the waterfall... Imagine if anything happens, you drop into the bridge and that's the end of your life looking at the rocks and the current of the water.. I know Kit was pretty scared.. But it's kind of her first time adventure as I noticed...

Then we decided to leave. As we got out of Lata Kinjang area, we saw a sign which pointed Ipoh - turn right. So we followed. As we drive after some distance, we realized that we might be on the wrong track cause the road doesn't look familiar. So we asked a boy by the road side if that way we took is heading to Ipoh. He said yes. So we were on the right track. That's what we thought. Not till after a lot more distance away, the road was winding and tiny. It's a really small and winding road. You know like those by the mountain side - where only a car can fit on the road kind of thing.. It was really scary. Wilson was driving the car as though he was driving and acting in Initial D - speeding and drifting. When we came across the car, we nearly bang the car. Thank goodness we didn't. Phew. After some distance we had some other trouble - a road diverged into two. Which path do we need to take? Kit say we should turn left. Thank goodness we didn't cause if we do, we end up in Gua Tempurung. Not only later we found out about that...

That was a really long story abot Friday. Next up, Saturday.

SATURDAY 30th June 2007

Woke up about 7.30 am cause Wilson told me they will reach my place about 8.15 am for Gua Tempurung.

Tick tock, tick tock - 8.30 am - no sign of them...
Tick tock, tick tock - 9.00 am - no call from them, no sms from them, no sign from them... where are they???
Tick tock, tick tock - 9.15 am - phone rang but mom called. mom was laughing at me and she said i should send them at least sms to check on their location... so i did...
Tick tock tick tock - 9.30 am - message received. Kit said they would reach in half an hours time.. so while waiting, i actually dozed off at the couch... ZZZzzzz.........
Tick tock tick tock - 10.05 am - they are finally there outside of my house..

So we headed straight to Gua Tempurung... The journey there was fast as from my house we used the highway and got out at Gopeng... But unlucky me, as we reached, got off the car and all, my shoes torn - the rubber of my sport shoes came off... So I am gonna venture the cave without a proper gripped shoes...

Fours tickets please. But we were not allowed to buy! Cause the package that we wanted which was package 4, we need to have a minimum number of 8 people in the team only we're allowed to go.. How pathetic could we be. So we waited cause according to the sales person, there is a team of 30 coming at 10.30am. So we waited. Then there was this uncle with his kids or nephews and nieces. They too only have 4 person. So we asked them to join our group as well. YAY, we finally can go in for our Grand Tour of Gua Tempurung....

As we enter the cave, it wasn't anything much. Images of horses and a lot more stuff were seen. Then the tough part begins. Climbing flights of stairs! That was the tiring, honestly. So anyone of you with asthma, please do not enter. Then there was this part where it is known as the Wind Cave. It was really windy at that area. Physics could explain that as the wind comes from the pressure from the both sides - as the windy area is small, compared to those outside of it; big open space..

Then we moved on. Nothing much yet, still plain walking stairs.. Then we came to our final stop - the dark spot of the cave. By the way, for those of you who do not know, Gua Tempurung used to be called the Dark Cave as deep inside the cave, you won't be able to see anything.. True enough, when we switch off our torch, we really couldn't see anything.

Next up, the adventure begins. We had to slide down a very dangerous rock which was slippery. It wasn't easy. I did injure myself a little. Then after that, we did river tracking, which was fun. Deep dark inside the cave, we walked along the river flow.... And there was on part were we needed to move like an army training - but in water.. the ARMY CRAWL I would call it. I manage to crawl real fast.. but the rest of them had splashes of water on their faces. Why I didn't get it? Cause I was the 2nd person behind the tour guide. Hehe, smart right?

By the time we got out of the cave, we were all dirty and wet. (ok, that sounds really wrong but well it's the best way to describe us.. ) After Gua, I went back home while they went for jungle tracking..

It was really nice goin to Lata Kinjang and Gua Tempurung. I am pretty happy with the two adventures. Both we did minor jungle tracking and river tracking - which I love a lot.

Phew, now, the only thing I am waiting for is pictures!!!! Hopefully Wilson will upload it soon enough for us...

That's all... Chioz
