Home Sweet Home

Yesterday I didn't attend my class as I bought an early ticket to return to Ipoh. So I woke up pretty early and walked to Pyramid to catch a bus to go to town. As I was about to reach town, I was an hour early. WHAT AM I GONNA DO? So I decided to make a trip to Central Market and have a little walk there (since I have not been there).

I reached Central Market about 11.30 am. As I enter the place, phew, I can swear and tell that it looks gorgeous as a tourist spot! The decorations of the place was excellent. Even though it doesn't look like a high class shopping centre, but it looks like a well refine shopping area for tourist. So I walked along the ground floor first and I found alot of interesting stuff. Wish I could get some as decorations. Anyways, after the ground floor, I was excited the fact I saw that on the first floor, they sell Batik stuff. I am actually looking for a printed Pareo so I could wear it for official and unofficial functions in the near future.

But how unlucky I was. As I was walking, I realized there was this guy following me... At first I didn't suspect anything. But then, when I turned and looked at something, I notice the guy wearing a red shirt walked past me earlier. And he made a u-turn and walked behind me. So I tried to snoop him a little. I stopped at one shop, he stopped there too. Then I walked again. And I stop for another stop, on purpose. And he stopped too... So I started walking slightly faster and look behind once in awhile pretending I am looking at stuff. And as soon as I saw the stairs, I quickly walked down the stairs and walked as fast as I could to another corner of the place. And lucky me I found the nearest exit. So I took the exit and went to the nearest shop which is Watson - it was right opposite the exit where I was. Then I went in, kept on looking around for stuff and went out only after awhile. Phew, I was lucky I manage to get rid of that dude or I would risk ma life.

I didn't know it could be so 'dangerous' to walk alone like that. But how could it be possible if those tourist who travels alone and go to all these place, don't they experience things like this? Don't they experience 'dangerous' yet 'adventurous' stuff like this too? I really would wanna know.

So I walked to Pudu from Central Market. It isn't that far. But it was still early. So I went into the shopping mall near pudu and went in for a walk. Man, I manage to get a very cheap hair band for only RM 2.50. It is something I think I would wear. So I guess the price is pretty worth it. Looked at the watch, it was already 12.15 pm. I shall make a move, I told myself. But before I go, I shall go to the ladies. In my mind, I already know that the toilet at the mall would be cleaner than in Pudu. I went down to the ground floor. Bad day. The sign says that the toilet is at the first floor and I was on that floor before I went downstairs. Never mind. After that, I went to Pudu about 12.30 pm.

Waited at the platform. My bus was suppose to be 12.50 pm, Plusliner. But it wasn't there. So all of us, the passengers, waited patiently for about 20 mins. One of them, I recall, asked me in Chinese if the bus has arrived. And banana me, I manage to reply her by saying 'oh, na ge bus hai mei dao!'. I was pretty surprise that I could actually reply her.

At last, the bus came about 1.20 pm. Phew, I can get onto the bus and get some sleep since I slept late last night, I told myself. My seat number was 7D. So I went all the way to the back. Lucky me, the guy who sat next to me, a malay guy, politely asked me if I wanted to sit by the window or by the aisle. Of course I would love to sit by the window. Or else, I couldn't sleep properly. In my mind, I was really thanking the guy like crazy. What a gentlemen. Rare case ok? But then, after all these, a man suddenly ask me, "Excuse me, may I know your bus seat number? Mine is written 8D." I told him my seat number and I didn't realize that I actually...... SAT ON THE WRONG SEAT!!!! This s humiliating... But the man was kind enough and he actually let me sit on his seat and he would take my sit. I guess I am just plain lucky that day.....

What a nice day! Got home and man, I realize home is good. I can watch TV all I want and go online all I want... Hehe.. I think I just use to be on holioday mood.. Alright now, gotta do some reading...

Colorful Pic

Life is Colorful

Just wanna share tis pic to my blog. The colors remind me off ma blog. So have fun adding colors to your life too!

NEW SEMESTER

Wohoo! Started my new semester about two days ago. First day of class was Dr Loh Joo Pin's Organizational Behavior lecture. As usual, Dr Loh wasn't really ready for the lecture. He did not bring his marker to class, didn't prepare out course guideline for us. Sigh, Dr Loh. But he is indeed a good lecturer and all.. So hopefully would be able to do well in his class...

Second day of class which is today, had three classes in a row. First was Modern Western World by Dr Anindita. It was interesting the fact the class was freaking crowded. Almost about 50 people in class. Well, I guess we're all a fan of Dr Anindita. :p She did a brief introduction to us regarding what we might learn in class - and it is really interesting. It's something that I would like to read but not study. I shall repeat - READ BUT NOT STUDY... But will still try my best to do it..

After Dr Anindita's class, I attended Ms Sumitha's Microeconomics. Not many people in the class, which is pretty good but I don't really know all of them in class. At first Cheryl was deciding to either take or not to take the class. At the end of the class, she decided not to. So I am all alone in the class. Ok, not that ALONE but not crazy enough to pay attention in class.. :p Ms Sumitha did some lectures today. I've learn Micro last time when I was in AUSMAT. Now that I am learning it, I've got to refresh my memory all over again! But it's cool cause I think I might be able to score in this paper. Well, that's if I worked hard enough and spend a fair amount of time on it.

Then it was lunch break. I went lunch with Cheryl. You know, to catch up and chat. Then met a few of Cheryl's friend. Wow, they're all still young! I mean not to say I am very extremely old or anything but younger than me and the way they talk to each other reminds me of those good old times I had when I was their age..

After that I had Accounting 1. I was pretty tired and sleepy by then cause of having three classes in a row. But I was wide awaken by the lecturer cause he called me and asked me to introduce myself first. From then on, I was awake for the whole class.

I finally realized that business is not as easy as it might seems. So far for now, I know I would suffer for some time before I actually graduate.

Then after classes ended, went to Terence desk and hang out with him and Jermaine. This joker Jermaine is really a joker. Used Terence's new wife aka his knife collection to cut the apple. And one of them drop on the floor. Then we were just busy laughing and teasing Terence and his new wives - first wife is from Taiwan (which is his knife), second have no idea where it was made from (another knife), third wife is from China (another knife) and last but not least, the fourth and fifth wife from Malaysia - his latest Dell laptop which is assembled in Malaysia and of course his latest I have no idea if it's a crush or gf, Eva.

I had a shocked of my life when Terence said Eva is only 19. I thought he was just pulling Jermaine's leg. So I acted for a while. Then when I asked again, yes indeed, she is only 19. Wow, we all know Terence like younger girls but didn't expect to actually date one so young. Terence is 35 and Eva is 19. Wow, what a huge age gap. If I didn't count wrongly, Eva could be Terence's daughter. Wow. Shock of my life! But of course, LOVE is BLIND. No one knows what would happen when LOVE happens... Then I was teasing Jermaine. Since Jermaine is 20, he should fine someone about a year old to date and make her his wife. *lol* Was just kidding. But seriously, who would expect that to happen?

So love is seriously blind. Or maybe cupid is too busy to set dates for anyone. Hmmm hmmm. Something interesting to ponder upon. Why some people will be able to find their love and yet it won't happen? Why some people fall in and out of love easily? Why some people find their love but there are barriers?

Ok, things are getting more complicated with what I am trying to say... so mind me, I shall set off now.. :p

Leaving On A Jet Plane

All my bags are packed
Im ready to go
Im standin here outside your door
I hate to wake you up to say goodbye
But the dawn is breakin
Its early morn
The taxis waitin
Hes blowin his horn
Already Im so lonesome
I could die

So kiss me and smile for me
Tell me that youll wait for me
Hold me like youll never let me go
cause Im leavin on a jet plane
Dont know when Ill be back again
Oh babe, I hate to go

Theres so many times Ive let you down
So many times Ive played around
I tell you now, they dont mean a thing
Evry place I go, Ill think of you
Evry song I sing, Ill sing for you
When I come back, Ill bring your wedding ring

So kiss me and smile for me
Tell me that youll wait for me
Hold me like youll never let me go
cause Im leavin on a jet plane
Dont know when Ill be back again
Oh babe, I hate to go

Now the time has come to leave you
One more time
Let me kiss you
Then close your eyes
Ill be on my way
Dream about the days to come
When I wont have to leave alone
About the times, I wont have to say

Oh, kiss me and smile for me
Tell me that youll wait for me
Hold me like youll never let me go
cause Im leavin on a jet plane
Dont know when Ill be back again
Oh babe, I hate to go

But, Im leavin on a jet plane
Dont know when Ill be back again
Oh babe, I hate to go

What Do You Think?? Tell Me...

When you have found the best friend, or in which you think he or she is, you don't appreciate them.. But when it's gone, you feel the lost.. This has got to do with the picture "They Are Not You"

One have to realize that not everyone is the same. When someone walks out of your life, some people might say, "It's ok. You will be able to find replacement" or they might say, "It's ok. You will survive it through with us around.." and bla bla bla... But THEY ARE NOT YOU....

Every person in this world is different.. So no one can be simply replaced by anyone.. They might replace a certain place but not the whole thing...

There are a lot of ways of describing friends and all.. Like the picture above, it says Friends with Benefit.

Does they really exist in out life? Of course they do. A lot of people are a clear example of friends with benefit.. Ok, do not only think about the sex part but it could also mean from other perspective - like friends using you to know some other people, friends misused you, and etc.. I don't think I've to say a lot about how friends could treat us sometimes..

So be really careful who you trust or so.. Look at them in the eye before you judge if that person is evil or not cause I've learnt something...

NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER....

When you have the friends, you don't appreciate them. And when you don't, you feel lost...

When you're gone
The pieces of my heart are missing you
When you're gone
The face I came to know is missing too
When you're gone
The words I need to hear to always get me through the day
And make it OK
I miss you

Story to be Shared

MY SPACE : A Must Read for All who have children or grandchildren

EVERYONE NEEDS TO READ ALL OF THIS and HAVE YOUR CHILDREN READ IT TOO!

After tossing her books on the sofa, she decided to grab a snack and get on-line . She logged on under her screen name ByAngel213. She checked her Buddy List and saw GoTo123 was on. She sent him an instant message:

ByAngel213:
Hi. I'm glad you are on! I thought someone was following me home today. It was really weird!

GoTo123:
LOL You watch too much TV. Why would someone be following you?
Don't you live in a safe neighborhood?

ByAngel213:
Of course I do. LOL I guess it was my imagination cuz' I didn't see anybody when I looked out.

GoTo123:
Unless you gave your name out on-line. You haven't done that have you?

ByAngel213:
Of course not. I'm not stupid you know.

GoTo123:
Did you have a softball game after school today?

ByAngel213:
Yes and we won!!

GoTo123:
That's great! Who did you play?

ByAngel213:
We played the Hornets. LOL. Their uniforms are so gross! They look like bees. LOL

GoTo123:
What is your team called?

ByAngel213:
We are the Canton Cats. We have tiger paws on our uniforms. They are really cool.

GoTo1 23:
Did you pitch?

ByAngel213:
No I play second base. I got to go. My homework has to be done before my parents get home. I don't want them mad at me. Bye!

GoTo123:
Catch you later. Bye

Meanwhile.......GoTo123 went to the member menu and began to search for her profile. When it came up, he highlighted it and printed it out. He took out a pen and began to write down what he knew about Angel so far.

Her name: Shannon
Birthday: Jan. 3, 1985
Age: 13
State where she lived: North Carolina

Hobbies: softball, chorus, skating and going to the mall. Besides this information, he knew she lived in Canton because she had just told him. He knew she stayed by herself until 6:30 p.m. every afternoon until her parents came home from work. He knew she played softball on Thursday afternoons on the school team, and the team was named the Canton Cats. Her favorite number 7 was printed on her jersey. He knew she was in the eighth grade at the Canton Junior High School . She had told him all this in the conversations they had on- line. He had enough information to find her now.

Shannon didn't tell her parents about the incident on the way home from the ballpark that day. She didn't want them to make a scene and stop her from walking home from the softball games. Parents were always overreacting and hers were the worst. It made her wish she was not an only child. Maybe if she had brothers and sisters, her parents wouldn't be so overprotective.

By Thursday, Shannon had forgotten about the footsteps following her.

Her game was in full swing when suddenly she felt someone staring at her. It was then that the memory came back. She glanced up from her second base position to see a man watching her closely.

He was leaning against the fence behind first base and he smiled when she looked at him. He didn't look scary and she quickly dismissed the sudden fear she had felt.

After the game, he sat on a bleacher while she talked to the coach. She noticed his smile once again as she walked past him. He nodded and she smiled back. He noticed her name on the back of her shirt. He knew he had found her.

Quietly, he walked a safe distance behind her. It was only a few blocks to Shannon 's home, and once he saw where she lived he quickly returned to the park to get his car.

Now he had to wait. He decided to get a bite to eat until the time came to go to Shannon 's house. He drove to a fast food restaurant and sat there until time to make his move.

Shannon was in her room later that evening when she heard voices in the living room.

"Shannon, come here," her father called. He sounded upset and she couldn't imagine why. She went into the room to see the man from the ballpark sitting on the sofa.

"Sit down," her father began, "this man has just told us a most interesting story about you."

Shannon sat back. How could he tell her parents anything? She had never seen him before today!

"Do you know who I am, Shannon ?" the man asked.

"No," Shannon answered.

"I am a police officer and your online friend, GoTo123."

Shannon was stunned. "That's impossible! GoTo is a kid my age! He's 14. And he lives in Michigan !"

The man smiled. "I know I told you all that, but it wasn't true. You see, Shannon , there are people on-line who pretend to be kids; I was one of them. But while others do it to injure kids and hurt them, I belong to a group of parents who do it to protect kids from predators. I came here to find you to teach you how dangerous it is to talk to people on-line. You told me enough about yourself to make it easy for me to find you. You named the school you went to, the name of your ball team and the position you played. The number and name on your jersey just made finding you a breeze."

Shannon was stunned. "You mean you don't live in Michigan ?"

He laughed. "No, I live in Raleigh . It made you feel safe to think I was so far away, didn't it?"

She nodded.

"I had a friend whose daughter was like you. Only she wasn't as lucky. The guy found her and murdered her while she was home alone. Kids are taught not to tell anyone when they are alone, yet they do it all the time on-line. The wrong people trick you into giving out information a little here and there on-line. Before you know it, you have told them enough for them to find you without even realizing you have done it. I hope you've learned a lesson from this and won't do it again. Tell others about this so they will be safe too?"

"It's a promise!"

That night Shannon and her Dad and Mom all knelt down together and thanked God for protecting Shannon from what could have been a tragic situation.

I Like Your Thinking

A teacher asks her class, "If there are five birds sitting on a fence and you shoot one of them, how many will be left?" She calls on little Johnny.
"None, they all fly away with the first gunshot."

The teacher replies, "The correct answer is four, but I like your thinking." Then Little Johnny says, "I have a question for YOU. There are three women sitting on a bench having ice cream. One is delicately licking the sides of the triple scoop of ice cream. The second is gobbling down the top and sucking the cone. The third is biting off the top of the ice cream. Which one is married?"

The teacher, blushing a great deal, replies, "Well I suppose the one that's gobbled down the top and sucked the cone."

"The correct answer is the one with the wedding ring on... but I like your thinking."

WOKAHOLIC

A workaholic finally decided to take a long overdue vacation. He booked a Caribbean cruise and was having the time of his life... until the boat sank! He found himself swept onto a desert island. Six lonely months later, he is lying on the beach when the most gorgeous woman he has ever seen rows up to him.

"Where did you come from?" he asks.

"I rowed from the other side of the island. I landed here when my ship sank" she says.

"Amazing". "You were really lucky to have a row-boat wash up with you".

"Oh this?" replies the woman. "I made the boat out of raw material that I found on the island; the oars were whittled from gum tree branches. I wove the bottom from palm branches; and the sides and stern came from a Eucalyptus tree".

"But that's impossible," stutters the man, "You had no tools. How did you manage?"

"Oh, no problem", replies the woman. "On the other side of the island there is a very unusual strata of alluvial rock. I found that if I fired it to a certain temperature in my kiln, it melted into forgeable ductile iron. I used that for tools." The guy is stunned.

"Lets row over to my place." She says. She docks the boat at a small wharf. As the man looks onto shore, he nearly falls out of the boat. Before him is a stone walk leading to an exquisite bungalow.

"It's not much but I call it home," she says. "Would you like another drink?"

"No thank you," he says still dazed. "Can't take any more of that coconut juice"

"It's not coconut juice," the woman replies. "I have my own still. How about a Pina Colada while I slip into something more comfortable." She returns wearing nothing but vines and a strategically placed shell necklace.

"Tell me," she begins suggestively, slithering closer to him, "we've been out here a long time. You've been lonely. I've been lonely. There's something I'm sure you really feel like doing right about now, something you've been longing for all these months," her hands sliding over his legs.

He can't believe what he's hearing. His heart begins to pound. He's truly in luck! "You mean." he gasps, "I can actually check my e-mail from here?"

SNack Attack

Well, yesterday morning, Aunty found a baby swallow in my house. So we decided to keep it since the bird can't fly. So dad went out to get some worms for the bird to eat. In the afternoon, when we decided to pay the bird a visit, it died. I think thanks to ma dogs who had gave the bird a shock. According to dad, birds can't get shocked or they'll die. Well, guess that's the reason birds don't survive long...

At night I cooked dinner. Well, it wasn't easy to prepare those stuff and all. But it was really fun... Then when I am almost done, suddenly I heard screaming. I thought I heard "Robber, don't let it run away!" And guess what, my whole entire family is outside. So I assume it wasn't robbery or else they would be hiding in the house. The next thing I know, it was a snake. Not any normal snake but a baby cobra. AAARRRGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My mom was so scared. I took a few pictures of the snake. Wanted to take more but since my mom was screaming like a "dong dong", better not.. My dad killed the snake.. And ma grandma threw the snake somewhere near the field.. Well, it was dead anyways...

Throughout the whole entire dinner, my mom was still pretty scared.. But I really guess, this night is something to note off....

SNAKES ALERT.. SNAKER ALERT...
